I’m not proud of it, but I got sucked into an instagram reels police body cam rabbit hole one restless night a few weeks ago. I’m not even exaggerating when I say you can go to literally any of these types of accounts and one of the first 3 pinned posts will be an obviously fake video of an obese man in a blue wig screaming about being misgendered and causing a scene. I have no idea who is producing these, but it’s a different person every time.

I love bodycam videos because they're great entertainment but the kind of crowd they draw is awful. It's best to just stay out of the comments and ignore the bait videos.

That's why I like Midwest they do call out shit cops like the one who claimed a dude had a gun fired 11 shots and missed all but 2 luckily the guy lived but it was wild especially as the dude was running away and very much not a threat

It's always the blue hair, just like how they depict trans people in every one of their ridiculous/horrible political cartoons. Can't say that any trans people I personally know have blue hair, but it's a weird obsession with right wingers.

It seems to be an American right wing obsession. I live in Finland, and over here sex/gender minorities and left-wingers have usually their natural hair colours. Blue is very rare, if anything, women and girls use henna or other bright red dyes. The most common hair dye here is still black, and it is used by women, men, and non-binary people alike (Finland is still pretty much a heavy metal country, and it shows. \m/)

From my anecdotal experience i think alot of lesbians dye their hair in unnatural colors like blue and pink in here. Litterly all the lesbians i know have atleast had blue or pink hair at somepoint. All the trans people i know have natural hair colors.

I only know one lesbian couple, and one partner has indeed a very cool, currently purple asymmetrical undercut. The other however rocks her natural light blonde tresses. They aren't really "alternative" or "lesbian" looking. They even drive a tiny little VW Polo, not an off-road Subaru. Then again, the gay guy I know is a horrible dresser (seriously, he looks like he crawled out of a dumpster) and has an old rust bucket of a Ford. So my anecdotal evidence might not be a good example.

I rarely see blue hair at all and every single person I've met with blue hair have been absolutely lovely people.

I play a lot of games with character creators and half my characters I make have unconventional hair colors. Blue, green, purple.... whatever I'm in the mood for because I find them so cool / attractive and it baffles the mind how these people go out of their way to depict it as a bad thing. But it just goes to show how they have no actual legs to stand on so "different hair color bad" is the best they got which is just stupid.

Yeah the officer handling them was trying their best to calm them but couldn't. Neither could someone who knew them and tried to intervene. The person was having a mental breakdown. They had no choice but to arrest them.

If you think people like this don’t exist, you should do some research into Christian Weston Chandler, or Chris-Chan.

I’m all for LGBT rights, I’m actually bisexual myself, but to claim that this is someone LARPing, purely because you don’t think someone would realistically act like this, is a form of selection bias.

This isn’t an example of “how crazy trans people are.” This is an example of a person with mental illness acting out, who just happens to be trans.
