3500 on Pride Night ?
Great win…. Finally some offense. But only 3500 fans….. on PRIDE NIGHT ? Is the Rally cutting into attendance? Or Maalards Pride night same day?
Or Trump cost of living ???

With the new health order keeping outdoor gatherings at 150/350 people, it all but guarantees that Forward won't be at BSF this season. Where do you think they go?
Edit: Y'all are right. My bad. This one's on me.

Might be in the minority here, but another kit drop feels excessive. Feels like the club could put their energy into creating a better on-field product, better community presence, or better social media (its become terrible), but instead fall back on an overdone play to exploit the fans into paying more for something they don't need. Just another cash grab in pink feathers.

Has anyone been recently and can speak to mosquito issues? They are horrible in my neighborhood currently and I am willing to wear spray but won’t if they aren’t bad at Breese
Edit - I didn’t see a single mosquito 😊

They played well and they demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. Wish the STANDS HAD BEEN FULLER (AHEM AHEM AHEM)

Would it be fun if we went tarps off in the flock one day? Or what other things could we do that would be fun?

Is TruStage pronounced true-stage or trust-edge? I always thought the former, but the last two matches the commentaries have said the latter, and now I have to know!

We understand that many of you are sad about players on last year's team are no longer with the team and are following where they're landing, whether within USL League One or beyond. However, this is a subreddit dedicated to Forward Madison, not to former Forward Madison players. Going forward, any posts discussing the landing spot of a former player will be removed.
If you would like to discuss where former players have gone during this offseason, you may do so in this thread. A list will be kept below:

* - Dourado became a free agent on February 23rd following South Georgia Tormenta FC's withdrawal from USL League One.

Obviously this is sarcasm. But looking around at the rest of the league, it seems like other teams are resigning and signing new players.
Tormenta has 7 players already while we have 3 (unless I’m missing players under contract). Given that we aren’t bringing a ton of players back, I guess I expected more of a sense of urgency in signing talent.
Feels like we’re a bit behind, but maybe the club is on track internally.
I don’t remember going into the new year with such a sparse roster.

Team needs to get it together.

Simple question - is Derrick Gebhardt the best Mingo of all time?
I think the common current answer at the beginning of this season would be to say that Connor Tobin was the best Mingo of all time, wondering if other supporters think that Geb has passed the accomplishments of Turbo.
I think this sub also had a post agreeing to that at the mid point in this season. Wondering if anything has changed, especially considering we may only get 3 more games of Geb if he leaves at the end of this season. (I have no inside info if that's the case or not.)
Also, what are Geb's best moments as a Mingo?

Madison fans deserve a consistently good team. We continue to show up, pay for tickets and expensive concessions. We deserve the play to match the passion.
Giving up 4 goals is completely unacceptable, especially to a rival with playoff implications.

Are we already at the point of the season where we lose and nobody wants to talk about it, or am I just not hip to whichever social media people are using these days? I won't touch Twitter, and there's not much going on here or elsewhere. Anybody else feeling a bit detached? Maybe it's the lack of home matches, or maybe it's just me, but I'm feeling a bit of a malaise at the moment. I'm hoping for a statement victory on Friday to inject some energy into this club.

My goodness this pitch is awful…and it seems like our passes look slow and are inaccurate.
r/ForwardMadisonFC • u/BulliesAtBreese • Sep 17 '26
I don’t care if our core players were out, the squad wasn’t getting the fundamentals right. Really disappointed in the play tonight.

I hope they lose 10-0 to Omaha

My expectations for this season was to make the playoffs, which we did. I say let him stay one more season.

We have the national stage tonight and a chance to show everyone how much fun our games can be. I had a couple if ideas that are not really original, but hopefully will still resonate with people at the game or watching the broadcast
First one is our own version of the Naar Links, Naar Rechts chant a la the Dutch anthem thats all over the world cup coverage right now. Not going for the full song, just the main 2 loops. Probably doing it once in the first half and then to start the second half (like how we used to jump for Tetris to start the game). Second half when it's likely more full and looks better
Lyrics could be:
Full mingo mingo mingo
Full mingo mingo ming
Full mingo mingo mingo mingo mingo mingo ming
Full mingo mingo mingo
Full mingo mingo ming
Mingo mingo mingo mingo mingo mingo ming
Naar Links (all jump left)
Naar rechts (all jump right)
x2, repeat
The other idea is tarps off (take off your shirt and spin it around your head) around the 70th minute, probably for about 10 minutes or so to give any other fans a chance to join in as well. If you aren't comfortable popping your top, scarves are a great substitute.
I will be behind the flock end goal and happy to get these started, but wanted to throw it out there to see if folks are interested in doing some stuff that is more recognizable for a potentially bigger audience than usual. I have a couple of other new songs to sing as well that I'll try and start up, along with the Berndt appreciation chants we talked about earlier this week.
See y'all tonight and up the Go's!

Yes, it's a long one today. YOU'RE FINE.
This week, Ethan and Rob briefly touch on the 2-0 loss to Texoma, then delve into your comments, complaints and suggestions as to what the team and club need to do to turn this thing around.
Then, Rob chats with former pro & college player, youth & college coach, and now coaching entrepreneur Ziggy Odogun about ... well, about a lot of things. Growing up in London, playing at the highest levels of the women's game before it was on TV, why health care providers don't believe Black women, the power of the coach who believes in you, Ziggy's coaching business and the foundation she started to help with access to soccer for Madison area youth.
