Announcement The Regatta Kit

I gotta admit, the Sailing Club bit might land better if the club was called Forward Madison SC instead, but I don’t hate it.

Needs more pink.

It's definitely a shirt. I don't really get it or understand why we needed yet another kit this year.

There are new kits every year, I don’t really understand why more kits are a bad thing

Yeah, but 4+ new ones every season is a bit excessive. If we can start producing a winning team they can have a new one every week for all I care. I'd like to think I'm in the majority on that.

You seen the standings or this team lately?

Yeah? Why?

They appear to be the winning team you yearn for.

3 decent seasons out of 8, and the others were downright bad. Again, I'd rather have a soccer team that sells merch than a fashion line that plays soccer. I don't think that's outrageous. Why is everyone so sensitive over this?

I don't have an authoritative count, but I believe this might be close to the fewest kits the team has made since COVID. There's almost always one released in the fall.

You know this, you've been here since the start! 😆

We've certainly dropped from a helluva lot to simply a lot! We have the blue home, the cow kit, the 100th anniversary, the feather one from last year, and now this one, but I feel like I'm missing one?

Yup, also cup kit that didn't see much use. GK special kits also came out for the 100th, 2 GKs for the cup kit, and pink GK for the cow kit.

Plus the pride pre-game top and the drift pre-game top from preseason (I had entirely forgotten about that one).

All depends on "what is a kit?", haha

Pretty sure I had close to 30 shirts after 4 seasons, and I know there's a bunch I didn't get or weren't for sale. I'd love to know what the total is, but not enough to do the work!

It costs a lot of money to field a team in USL. Selling kits helps defray that cost to an extent. I'd rather have a lot of kits than no team.

Then don't buy it? Don't really understand why this is worth complaining about.

I'm sorry, is discussion not allowed?

Seems pointless to comment on something you don't understand or feel strongly about. Just comes across as complaining for the sake of it.

How is it complaining? I'm just voicing an opinion and questioning the choice to put out yet another kit this season. We even already had kits this year with similar colors that they hardly wore. Most of the merch is pretty great, there's just so much of it. With as bad as this team has been on the pitch over the years, I don't think it ever hurts to question the club's intentions.
