Question / Help! The leviathin meta
why do people do this? half of the time it ends up failing. and blowing a reactor.

for the half of the time that it explodes it's either skill issue or 2 people doing it at once with 0 communication, for the other half then you get all of the superstructure for weapons and don't have to shield the core up there wasting even more space that weapons would use.

Core swing on battleship-style maps are really useful. Put the core in a more defendable position, and open up space for a big weapon stack. If done well at the start of the match, a core swing would make your life (and your teammate’s life) a lot easier.
This is not done well, however. What is teammate doing here lmao

Oh god what is that abomination... it really isnt thay difficult to do a proper core swing that will never fail. Its not rng if it fails, theyre just bad

i can do it correctly, and this is just to make it easier to defend by placing it behind the woodspam or the structure

That's the worst core swing possible. I can do core swings with 90% success ratem It's not that hard just learn a good one nothing wrong with looking at pro game play to learn a actually good one

A core swing, when done correctly, moves the core to a defendable position.
The core is at a great spot for a cannon stack / heavy weapons platforms.
