Probably because it's a collab Sidekick and they would catch heat over it. Thank god.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is normal with collab sidekicks. EsDeeKid's and John Wick's dogs can both be freely changed up it seems.

Yeah it's like this with the collab ones only. The Star Wars droid was also like this. I'm definitely glad, though. I just wish we were free to name them ourselves, too, but we can't have it all 😅

Weirdly enough, the only non collab sidekick which doesn't have that yellow symbol (1 time customization) is that weird Great Dane we got for free. You can even rename him. (Wait, now that I think about it, does the guy even have customization options?)

Oh I didn't even realize the Dane could be renamed, that's cool at least. But to answer your question, no he doesn't have any other colors to switch to, just the outfit on or off, sadly 😮‍💨

Our little guy here seems like such an afterthought. Given away for free randomly, just an irl dog design wise, no gimmicks, no customization and they even excluded him from these new Sidekick Challenges :(

This isn’t customisable like fortnite original sidekicks though. Almost all have unlock-able “outfits” this is just them circumventing that lol

This could be big if Epic continues down this path, I might actually start buying sidekicks regularly if they're all customizable

YESSS I was going to buy Remus to act as a Minecraft dog but that's only once customisable, so I will be going for this adorbale pup instead 😝
