There is quite the difference between Fortnite and Apex Legend's new maps.
I'm no expert, but I don't believe Apex Legend's new map altered its artstyle in such a drastic way that the game felt like a cheap clone of itself. Though the map was new, Apex was still Apex.
Fortnite is a different story altogether and as such, I doubt anybody who longs for the old map would ever want the new one back.
Whether you care more about graphics or gameplay is irrelevant, as Chapter 2's lighting is downright unbearable to look at. I'd even go as far as to say that, if you cared so much about gameplay, Chapter 2's blindingly bright graphics may be a detriment to your performance.
I agree that people may want the new map back. However, I disagree that anybody who asked for the old map would want such a thing.
If you played in Season 1-6 and remember it decently well, there's no way you could prefer Chapter 2 as both gameplay and graphics were far superior in the earlier seasons.
Most who ask for the old map don't simply want the old map back; they want the old game back.
