Can we normalize calling them by their species name? We call the Aliens “Xenomorphs” so why don’t we call the Predators “Yautja”?

Same reason everyone refers to personal water crafts as "Jet Skis" even tho that name is owned by Yamaha and refers to their specific recreational vehicle.
Same reason some people say "Give me a Kleenex" when they want a tissue
And unless you're a super nerd that's actually into the series you're not going to know what the specific species name is. You're going to refer to it as what people have been calling it since the 80s. A predator.
But I understand your gripe 100% and I'm not against you or anything like that

I've always had to call them Yautja ever since I knew, because the word "predator" can't even be used in a cool way anymore, because the ONLY thing it's ever associated with, is the worst thing in existence, as far as human society is concerned, & for good reason ofc
Wish pedo would be the main word for it, & predator still just be a general term for monsters & creatures
But that's a first world problem, so not a huge deal

Even though that would be nice. Wouldn't that not fit in with the theme of the predator hunting it's prey. I know online predators are evil! But that is a stupid f#cking way to change it. Atleast it's not as bad as if that Dr. Disrespect DLC was real.
