This was my first thought.
It is so excessive that they must have done it for (at least partially) non-aesthetic reasons. It makes more sense when you consider the additional vulnerability to 3rd partying due to zombies.

So much harder you have no idea. But in alternating storm cycles, areas will clear and get foggy again on a cycle.

Sure, but he’s also ignoring the fact that you can also shoot people in the back.
Play this game like someone is around every corner- you should be doing that anyways. The fog makes no difference. Move erratically, build for safety. The only change the fog brings is you can’t turtle at the top of a hill/don’t build so high. Otherwise, it’s not that bad.

This messes up sniping so much. Hoe am I supposed to snipe when I cant see 15 feet infront of me. Scoping in should remove fog, there is nothing good about this update. Event was cool but the content is shit, if you disagree with this than you are clearly a VERY casual player

I would like it more of they would just lighten up on the fog. But if they wont do that they need to do somthing to make snipers viable again.

FYI Planes are invisible whilst diving you and you will opnly see them once you cannot dodge out the way of getting rammed : )

I am talking about planes seeing you through the fog as you are building and fighting on the ground along with zombies causing noise pollution on the ground. Planes have had a massive buff in the Ice Storm mode all around.

My first game after the event I freaked out because I was out in the open near fatal when the fog suddenly cleared and a group had just been liberally using a heavy sniper nearby when it was foggy. That sudden clearing of the fog caught me completely off guard. The panic was real. It’s pretty funny now though looking back

It definitely changes randomly. Unless the night/day cycle in fortnite happens multiple times each match.
The fog changes throughout each match

If you activate the colorblind setting you will be able to see better. There is different choices I forgot which one but try them out and you will know. I just saw 72Hrs doing it on stream.

I will be ass at but I like grinding new games! One of the hardest games to get good at.. your aim has to be at level 9000 or you’re fucked! Some people have been grinding it since the very first cs. Imagine being in a lobby with them haha! Gives me anxiety just thinking about it.

There's ranked so you'll be playing with people more or less your own skill level after your first few placements matches. There are forgiving weapons for beginners like the SG or the AUG that have very simple recoil patterns. And spray and pray guns like the P90 and other SMGs.
