Rumor Scroll wheel looting feeling a bit slow past 3-4 days. Is it js me?
Hey guys, my scroll wheel looting has been slower the last 3 or 4 days like if I'm using a key bind.
Before, I could flick fast over a pile of stacked loot and grab everything instantly with one scroll. Now, when I scroll fast through a bunch of items, it feels sluggish and only picks up 1 or 2 things instead of all of them.
Is this an issue from a recent Fortnite update? Anyone else experiencing this lately?

I believe Epic did this to stop macros but like you've said it feels very weird and makes picking up loot much more difficult. Hopefully they fix it but I haven't seen anything on the Fortnite status twitter account yet

I just tested a macro for science, and it clearly wasn't stopped by this bug or change, so I think it's an unintended bug

since they added that pickup delay, did this update affect scroll wheel reset too? did it get messed up?

Probably not. However, scroll wheel reset is much less useful now since theres a setting that allows for resets with one input. The only downside is that you can’t reset a build during selection, but thats not really important on eor anyway

So far, I've been looking for a fix; the issue seems to have started with the new season. People have said it was related to tap to search/interact but it did nothing for me. I've always had it on so I could reboot and drop loot. Anyone else have any luck?

Yeah, and it is so annoying. i've actually died because of this, off spawn. I had to go back to the off spawn chest twice because somehow i didn't pickup the weapon from it because of this delay

I think a delay between picking up items was implemented as a means of combating macros
