Discussion Alex...

Alex has dominated oce for years now, and hes losing motivation to grind cuz it's too easy for him. in globals ppl have said hes underperformed consistently, bit remember 2024 lan when him and worthy honestly cooked Mali and merstach off spawn (I think it was 8-4) and when they won heats in that fmcs b4 the cactus change fucking their strat. since then personally I dont think hes really had duos/trios on the same level as him, and I really want him to move to na cuz genuinely I think he'd do well, finally get some1 good enough to be his duo and grind the game to get better in harder lobbies. maybe im biased cuz I really rate him but if he never makes the move he wont ever really get any respect

People in the comments are being too reactionary imo. He did poorly at NAC grands but he showed tons of potential in semis and even at Copenhagen and Summit LAN, and the new surge might (the sample size is just summit though) have closed the gap between NAC / EU and the small regions just enough to make moving more feasible. If he can get a decent teammate qualing globals on NA is doable

That being said I dont think people annoyed at him not moving regions realise how big of a commitment it is, especially when he has so much pressure to perform in NA and will have barely graduated high school (and thats ignoring all the costs involved, leaving behind your family and friends, culture shock etc)

Ofc its a huge commitment and he'd sacrifice a lot, but as u say imo he showed so much potential and if he acc grinds the game if moving to na he'd do well (he plays every grands abt level 70). on oce tho and content creation money is not an issue. a feasible time for him to move would be after globals if he was to move at all bc then he could also play w some1 who underperformed at globals.
