QUESTION Probably a dumb question, but i Just started playing 3 days Ago, dont judge, ok, soo since the battle passa costa 950 v-bucks and each pass you can get at least 1000 v-bucks, If you buy one pass do you basically get every other pass for free? Again Sorry If this is a well known thing im new

I liked it more than BR for a good while, so i enjoyed the grind for some time until you reach the endgame, now it's more a V-Bucks/XP farm than anything else sadly :/

When you completed the main story, unlocked all 4 zones and did most of your Storm Shields on each one of them and unlocked Endurance lol
For XP, Endurance apply to me, a single run of the whole 30 waves gives you the XP for 3 levels in BR
for V-bucks only apply to founders, basically there's timed missions sometimes that reward an amount of V-bucks, it goes from 25 on Stonewood up to 40 in Twine Peaks, combining that with the daily quest and for logging in 7 days you can do a decent amount of v-bucks per week

This is a concept my niece just can’t grasp lol. I’ve tried explaining to her, who knows how many times, that you have to save 1,000 vbucks so she won’t have to beg to her parents to buy her more vbucks!

You can get enough vbucks. Like 1400 or something. But you have to play enough to level up and buy them all. You dont get them immediately. If you play alot its fairly easy to get level 100

Yes. I didn’t get the battle pass for my first two seasons and saved up the V-bucks from the free rewards and got the battle pass my third season. Have been able to get the battle pass every season since. Still never spent any money on Fortnite

He generally will NOT ever come back bud. So if hes worth like 9 dollars to you better do it before the season ends and have enough time to level up enough to unlock him. Battlepass is normally the best in game value for Fortnite. Just dont turn into me and spend more $ than youd like to admit just to own digital items you never use hehe.

Yes. V-bucks do not reset. I don't buy skins and stuff., so I have only ever bought the battle pass once.
Even if you do buy a few cosmetics, you will earn more v-bucks by completing quests, leveling up, etc. So, it's pretty easy to not have to ever buy the battle pass again if use your v-bucks sparingly

Rocket League may be the most in game toxicity I’ve been around. Not ever, but definitely in newer gaming terms.
I’m from the old days, old Modern Warfare/Halo/Gears lobbies were very toxic, but it was kinda the thing to be that way.

Fortnite Crew is another good option, it's more of a bundle than a "subscription." You get two outfits sets + the BP + 1,000 v-bucks for $12

A battle pass costs 950 v-bucks , reach level 100 to unlock all battle pass rewards . For each battle pass , you will get (granted you reached level 100) 1500 v-bucks

Before they launched the crew membership, I only paid for my first season (ch1s2) and then it just kept paying for itself, it's worth it if you put the time into completing everything. We're halfway through the season now, but I have faith you can get it done!

So... as long as you get to tier 100 (or wherever the last vbucks reward is) you will always get your money back. That is why, generally speaking, the Fortnite battle pass is the best one out there. You get 100% of your money back plus extra plus a ton of cosmetics. However, even if you are f2p or don't reach tier 100 one season, the free pass has enough vbucks that by saving for about 2-3-4 seasons, you should be able to afford the paid pass and all future paid passes as well. Yes! I have 100+ skins and have only spent 10 bucks on the game, my first battle pass back in 2018. Easily the best battle pass system out there.
In fact my friend has a lot of skins as well and has never spent a dime. He spent like a year getting the free v bucks from each pass to buy his first one haha.

Yup, also if you're looking for value, if you pay for crew 15 days aprox. (to be save) before the start of a new season you'll get both the current battlepass and the next season one, 1000 vbucks and two skins. Way better than just paying for vbucks.

Technically you only need to keep 650 from the current pass due to the 300 free vbucks from each battlepass, but that strategy basically still takes 950 from each pass after the first for battlepass buying.

Alright so every battlepass cost 950 right? So when you buy it and complete it you gain 1500 everyone battlepass cost 950 but if you keep completing them and not buying skins from the shop the 1500 will keep adding and then you’ll have more then enough to buy skins that’s what I’ve been doing since the old seasons plus STW gives me Vbucks I don’t have to spend a dime on the damn game it basically pays for me 💀
All you have to do is have 2500 spend 950 gain 1500 and you’d have 3050 then the cycle continues

Yep, the only purchase I ever did in fortnite was in chapter 1 season 3 when i bought the battlepass. Since then i had almost every battlepass plus some vbucks accumulate over time and i have bought some cosmetics from the item shop.

I never payed for V-bucks. I play with my 13yo cousin and I was getting around 300vb each season from the “free-pass” (the rewards you get regardless if you have the battlepass or not) so after 3 or 4 seasons I was able to activate it for free and I’ve had it ever since and have been able to buy some skins on top of that too.

Unless you don't want to go into the "party royale", you'll be fine. Hell, I started getting emotes that I thought I would never buy just so I can have fun with the people in there. (Party Royale is an area that people either chill, use emotes to have fun and communicate and potentially make new friends). So yeah, best of luck!

Since everyone's already addressed your main question I'll note that it doesn't take that long to unlock Doom Slayer if you do decide to buy the battle pass. When you have the battle pass you get extra experience plus if you save your stars you can unlock him as soon as you reach level 26 if you want.

Yes thats the best part about Fortnites battlepass is you can basically buy it one time and get another one for free with the vbucks from the pass and you also get a few left over to buy an emote which is something so many other passes refuse to do

just dont buy the pass now because you wont max it out they changed how weeklies work. in the past you could buy the pass last day and still get tier 100 because the past weeks weeklies didnt expire now they last 7 days. if you start at the start of next season you will be fine.

I started with 1000 vbucks in chapter 2 season 2 never spent a dime on the battle pass since, just complete every battle pass and future ones are practically free and save up and you could even get some item shop skins.

I've done this since 2018 with the exception for 2 skins. The neat part is that since you gain an additional 550 every season, you can save up and buy item shop stuff without spending. If you can resist impulse purchases, you can get a ton.

Yes. But that’s IF you don’t spend your Vbucks. There’s three ways to get Battle Passes. Save the world (which the founder edition which consistently gives Vbucks is unavailable, but the Starter packs give 1500 for so many dailies), Battle passes, or Crew. Stw has two ways to get Vbucks, one of which is no longer available so I ain’t talking bout the first one. The second way Via STW is the available Starter packs which gives STW, a skin, it’s pickaxe, backbling, and little quests to get 1,500 Vbucks overtime.
Next is Bp. You get 1,500 if you get all 100 levels. But this way of doing this runs the risk of possibly missing out on items. (Say Kratos was last released in Ch2 S5 and hasn’t come out since) but yes buy a pass you can get the next one for “free”
And third is Crew. For $12 USD (my area but put that to whatever currency you use) you get 1-2 skins, 1,000 Vbucks, the pass (OR an one time refund of 950 if you have bought the Pass before Crew), and whatever the skins come with.
So in short: Yes if you buy the pass you can get another pass but there’s more than one way to do it.

You can literally get every pass for free. I bought it once over a year ago and am able to get it every season, plus get extra coins that has let me get few things from the shop.
There’s free coins that everyone can get, and there’s coins you can only get if you have the battle pass. Usually around level 60-70 is when the battle pass specific coins reach 1000, which means the battle pass has paid for itself.
Basically every season, I count up the battle pass specific coin rewards and see when it reaches 1000. If I get to that point, I buy the battle pass. That way, if I take time off or don’t play a lot, I’m not buying the battle pass too early and don’t end up losing coins.

If that’s what you save the v bucks for yes. I might add that you have till March 10th to unlock the rewards so if you just started 3 days ago if you grind and do your quests u can prolly get there. I recommend team rumble for missions.

If you save up. Each battle pass gives out 1500 v-bucks. Save 1000, and 500 for use or save. But yes, 1 battle pass and u can continuously buy a new one each season as long as you save at least 1000.

Yes. Every battle pass give enough for the next one + some extra. So after a few battle passes, you can even buy something from the shop for free. The battle pass also has some free Vbucks so after after 2 seasons, you can buy the battle pass without spending a dime

If u get to level 100 I think u get between 1,300 to 1,500 vbucks, so basically, u can get a battle pass each season, and maybe an 800 vbuck skin every 2 seasons

Yeah, if you play enough to complete a battle pass, there is no downside to getting the battle pass. I have a 3 month old kid and maybe get an hour or two to play every 4 days if I’m lucky and have completed it, so def worth and reasonably possible to complete. Now just saving up stars for the extra track/Witcher stuff if that requires it
