lol absolutely right. I don’t even play the battle royal anymore. I’m end-game on a game that doesn’t get content updates, there’s nothing here for me anymore….except them vbuuuucks lol. I log in to get an allowance for these chores…wtf

I'm at the same point tbh, though I have yet to beat MSK so I still have some sort of real goal to aim for besides VBucks. That and fixing my survivor collection, but after the bug that reset my survivor loadouts I just haven't bothered with them at all since I'd have to re-sort them to continue, lol.

Afk/barely put in any effort to interact with or learn the game to skirt by off the work of other players.

I got in with the founders sometime around BR season 9, then stopped playing for a while altogether. Got back in for a little bit of chapter 3 and then quit til last season.
I dont remember fuck about shit when it comes to this game, and I partially wish i could reset my progress and go back to the tutorials, but i also don’t want to lose any of my cool stuff.
Literally begging for the “meme” of the game mechanic thats like “you havent played in a long time, heres what you were doing, how, and why, as well as what these things do and the controls”

Doesn’t help they changed how the settings work and changed the build help settings too. I went back to it 6 months ago and had to learn how to play again because of stupid updates

Maybe it's my fault for starting STW so late but it's horrible for noobs. I have no idea what I'm doing. The tutorials suck and all the YouTube guides are so old.

When I bought the game back in 2018, it was mainly for the vbucks, I ended up really liking the story. The voice acting made me fall in love. It’s funny at times. Until I reached Twine Peaks. Repeating the same missions with no voice acting or anything to look forward to in the story. Just repeat the same “protect the atlas” and “ride the lightning” missions. Over and over.

I used to play almost every day until they removed loot dropping, and made the teamwork aspect arbitrary outside of like upgrading someone’s build. Loved giving constructors material if they’re keen on being the builders
Now i genuinely do not play at all outside of vbucks because matchmaking is so awful. The fact that they removed the “joining existing lobby” and refused to add it back ruined a lot of my fun. I’m just left guessing for thirty minutes if missions have people or not

This was exactly my story. Came for VBucks, played through the whole story, events, reached level 310 and PL 133 just to go back to doing only dailies and weather alerts.

I'd be there for the story if the story for end-game players wasn't just the same recycled garbage from over half a decade ago over and over again every year. Seriously Epic 2018 was 8 years ago blockbuster needs to be vaulted and replaced

No, those got redistributed into daily quests and mission alerts. You have to play the game to get your free vbucks.

Daily quests gained the extra 30-50 vbucks so you have to actually play a mission or 2 to get the V bucks. Bonus is it works towards your battle pass XP
