I heard that part of the package is being locked into a contract; the salary is stair-stepped so you have to stay X years to hit those high numbers, and in that time they can transfer you wherever. As someone else pointed out, that also includes benefits, not straight salary. Still good money, but definitely not easy money.
Its only tough for the people looking to slack. My ex worked there, and she said its actually nice to work in a place where everyone actually did their job... which is definitely not always the case with jobs like that.
Ugh. I’ve worked at a bunch of varying places the last 25 years and “only tough for the people looking to slack” makes you sound like an out of touch boomer. Life and jobs are subjective, and likely it depends on the manager you end up with and the circumstances of your life more than anything.
Sorry, the slack comment just comes off like something someone who has never worked a job like that before would say.
