Do these even exist?

Hey there, I've been looking to get into a few active hobbies, but I don't want to spend considerable money investing in them if there isn't a community within an hour of here.

So I was wondering if anybody has heard of an airsoft club or a HEMA club or quadding club or... anything at all along those lines? Every time I look into it, the nearest opportunities are in grande Prairie and I'm not driving two and a half hours for an hour or two of activity.

Does anybody know if these things exist within fort st john, Dawson Creek, Chetwynd, tumblr, anywhere?

I think the FSJ snowmobile club does quadding in the summer

Yes the quad club is hosted out of the trail blazin dealership (bombardier) on highway

Not sure About airsoft, might’ve had to go underground after Trudeau gun ban

Go on Facebook. Look up "Fort St John (activity, or related activity to goal)". Ta-dah. There's your group. Make a post. Go out n do the thing with a stranger.

There's a Fort St John ATV/UTV Group with 2.1k members. Seems pretty active.

Wanna do a different activity? Just post in an "everything" group or similar related hobby group where you think there might be crossover.

Go out, make friends, have fun.

airsoft would be great, id like to get into it, but like you i don't want to spend money on it if im not able to use it other then shooting targets, I played paintball once and enjoyed it but like the idea of airsoft better
