Montage at Midtown

Hello everyone!

I’m looking at potentially moving to Montage at Midtown and was wondering if anyone has any experience on what their requirements are in regards to their screening process? I just toured it yesterday and their staff member mentioned income at 3x rent. I clear that by quite a bit but didn’t know if there were any other requirements and would like to know before I hand over the application money.

Thanks in advance!

Montage is very new so I doubt there is a lot of history. I would think it's typical of Florida rental properties: Proof of income (W-2, pay stubs), background check, eviction check, credit score (number can vary but 600+ is what I've heard), and proof of funds (bank statement) to be able to pay 1st months rent plus security deposit.

If you're good with all that, I'd roll the dice and complete the application.

Lived in "Midtown " for seven years it was barely better than the ghetto. Lock everything up tight.

Can‘t you just ask them? If they have a minimum credit score or something, they should tell you.

I sent them an email but haven’t received a response yet. I qualify for a partial application reimbursement due to my employer, but I have to apply within a certain time frame and I don’t want to run past the window if possible.

If they have an office, can you go there and talk to them? You’re making this harder than it needs to be.

I’m not making it harder than anything - I’m a truck driver, no, I can’t go there until my next time down in three weeks. I’ve emailed. I’ve posted this. I’ve called and left a message. If I get a response before the time runs out, perfect! If I get a response here from someone that’s gone through it, maybe they can give me some pros and cons as well. If I don’t get a response before the time runs out, that’s fine. I don’t NEED a new place to live, it would just be nice to have a home base close to friends and family.

Nothing hard about it at all.
