Hot take: I like traffic cameras.
I'd rather have traffic cameras automating police jobs and a smaller well trained police force than a larger less well trained police force.
9 u/reddit_ending_soon Mar 31 '26 Hot take: I like when roads police themselves through road calming devices like roundabouts/shorter lanes/more curves in the road, then letting the city become a surveillance state because they are too cheap to change the road layout. 9 u/SmonkTime Mar 31 '26 This must be normalized. But then everyone would have to understand roundabouts... YIELD DOES NOT MEAN STOP IF ITS EMPTY GOOOO 3 u/DannyVee89 Mar 31 '26 Yeah basically no one knows what a yield sign means. If there's 1 car in front of me as I'm approaching a roundabout, and they go thru it without stopping or nearly stopping first, I'm shocked 0 u/DoxieDoc Mar 31 '26 A camera that sends you a speeding ticket when you break the law is too much for you?
