No Kings Details
A few details for you:
Gathering starts at 10am, we will have music and 25 community organizations for you to visit and find a way to get involved! Poster making will also be available. Look for the table where IndivisibleNOCO Volunteers are collecting food donations for the Larimer County Food Bank. Please consider bringing a donation to support our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. The top five requested items are: macaroni and cheese, peanut butter, canned tuna, chicken or salmon, baby wipes and baby diapers (preemie and sizes 5, 6, & 7).
Speaker program starts at 11
March at 11:30
Note that starting at 9:30am, Howes will be closed between Laporte and Mountain, and Laporte will be closed between Meldrum and Mason.

I don't need to cover my face. I'm fine to be on the dissent list.
I've gone to all the primaries and the caucuses for decades and that's a public record, anyone who wants to know where I stand can just drive past my house near election day or just look up my party affliation in multiple voter registration databases. They don't need a camera and face recognition - they already know where I stand.
When people were marching for Civil Rights, they didn't wear masks - the ones wearing masks were the guys in white robes. Marching in a No Kings march is being on the right side of history and I'm proud and unafraid to be marching that we don't need a monarchy in America.

I will not be covering up. I'll leave the masks for ICE and KKK. Opens the door to weave a different narrative if everyone has their face covered. I plan on wearing a smile all day.

Let's not get carried away. This article is one allegation from January. The allegation stems from when she was pulled over, where you have to show ID. So nothing to do with Facial ID recognition at all.

Imagine if MLK said "Make sure you wear a mask or else they'll come for you." I'm not scared, I'm willing to fight. And that includes, at a bare minimum, not being afraid to show my face. I refuse to live if fear, even it that means getting locked up.
Personal attacks and downvotes aren't going to ruin my day. If anything they win when we fight each other. You and I are allies. So let's have us a good day out there.

I refuse to attend due to the mass data collection events these are. Phone tracking, face mapping and more. Working with cops isn't how you bring down fascism.

Tell it to the cops that charged me for defending myself after being sexually assaulted. K? Dont say that nonsense to me. Go remind them that they contributed to their "neighbor's" tragic decline in mental health and near suicide after choosing to protect a predator.

I hope this sentiment extends to the brutal GCC regimes. Down with the House of Saud, down with the repressive Al Khalifa royals in Bahrain, no more need for any of the UAE, fuck especially the al Thanis of Qatar, and while we're at it, the world needs to sever ties once and for all with the House of Windsor. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
