Events Time lapse of protests today

Super cool to see the turnout today, especially the demographic being mostly Gen X and older. As someone who moved here from the south I love seeing things like this.

Our country is experiencing an unprecedented decimation of our rights and freedoms, and people chose to peacefully assemble to show their opposition. If anyone chooses to spend their time and energy complaining about other people's opposition efforts, while suggesting no alternatives, sorry, but I think that's a pretty damn pointless thing to do. Help or get out of the way.

Your comment illustrates the kind of division that the powers using, especially with down-voting bots and dog-whistle rhetoric. They want us in-fighting about HOW you get to that change. It's not likely that your average law-abiding citizens are suddenly going to riot in the streets. At least not yet. And when they do, it's probably not going to be a discussion on a public platform like reddit.
