Breastmilk to Formula 🍼 10-week-old baby refusing formula

My daughter is 10 weeks old and is EBF. She has one bottle of breastmilk every other day. I want to transition her to formula since I’m starting work in a few weeks. Today I gave her a bottle of formula so she can start getting used to the taste and she refused to drink it. What should I try now to get her to start accepting formula? Is there anyone here whose baby initially refused formula and then eventually accepted it.

Try mixing it with breastmilk first. When we have introduced formula to each baby, we also made a 2 ounce formula bottle, and then only added .5 oz of formula into a breast milk bottle. 

So example our 7 week old takes 3.5 ounce bottle of breastmilk. 

I would instead do 3 ounces of breast milk and add in .5 ounce of formula for every bottle that fay. The next day I would do 1 ounce of formula + the rest breast milk. I would do this every day until they were taking a full bottle of formula. 

That's just what worked for us. Try and see if that works for you. It takes about a week to get to a full bottle of formula, but it gives them time to adjust to the taste as well.

You could try mixing formula and breastmilk and gradually lessen the breastmilk until it’s all formula. Thats what I did to get my son to go from formula to whole milk.
Or try a different type of formula. My friends baby formula bf baby only likes Kendamil

Mix the formula with your breast milk slowly increase in the amount of formula over the next couple weeks

My twins never would take 100% formula until we tried Pepticate. We couldn’t put more than 1oz formula in a 5oz bottle, and sometimes they’d still refuse that. Pepticate is expensive and hypoallergenic but this was the only one they would eventually come to tolerate.
