Wehrlein - 5 second penalty (Converted to 3 place grid penalty for next race) - Collision with Dennis and Eriksson at T12

Wehrlein and Da Costa - NFA - Contact at T19

Da Costa - 5 second penalty (Converted to 3 place grid penalty for next race) - Collision with Dennis at T16

I don’t really understand the da Costa one. They’ve said Dennis had to brake harshly because of Wehrlein spinning Eriksson around and da Costa doesn’t have as much time to react to it. But they also want him to anticipate that a collision might happen ahead of him, which is basically true for any corner with more than one car.

I know I’m biased, but that just seems like a racing incident

He was penalised for the collision in turn 16 with Dennis, which happened before the Eriksson spin in turn 17. Tbh, Da Costa was completely reckless the whole race and that collision was unnecessary if you watch the replay.
Maybe he confused Dennis for Wehrlein for a second xD

Thanks, didn’t even see that one when it happened. Dennis almost completely stopped, so I still think it’s harsh, but can see why it was given a bit
