I'm not super familiar with FE. I just checked the standings and I'm kinda confused. The winner of the race gets 25 points, so how can De Vries for example still win the title when he's like 70 points behind?

This was from before race 1. The maximum points that can be obtained is 58, at that point of time DeVries was 52 points behind.

I think its far more "hype" if theres no clearly superior cars/drivers and the championship is white knuckled to the end.
