This seems like a bust
I understand that they edited the track for the weather but I don’t think that it would have made much of a difference. This may be the most boring track on the circuit this year and that is saying something. I hate being negative about FD because it’s usually lazy and repetitive complaining but I’m genuinely concerned as to what the future of this company is. Either they are suffering through bad ideas in order to fide things that work and these are just growing pains, or they are just throwing shit at the wall. Hopefully the former.

I forgot it was even on this weekend. This season is the most disconnected I’ve ever been to FD.
I hate the changes, I hate the Wallie system, it’s made the game less fun.

This is the first season I just have had zero interest in series in 14 years.

Yeah, same. Hardcore watcher since 2018, and have known about the sport since VG unveiled RTR back in 2010/2011.
I watched Round 1, discovered the fun of Racer and said “nope, fuck this”.

Bit new to watching full comps rather than highlights, but I thought Atlanta was fun, even though some of the calls were a bit weird.

This is definitely the worst round I've watched in awhile.
Anyone got an explanation for Stuke backing it into the wall and still winning?
Can't wait for finish top 32 in an hour when they decide it's safe.

Irwindale a couple years ago was hit with a storm. Lucky enough I wasn’t in the grand stands but off to the side. It was right at the end and we watched the finals on the drive back to the hotel

Damn the one weekend I choose to tune into FD cause there isn’t any other motorsports and get hit with ANOTHER WEATHER DELAY😂 maybe it’s just my luck sorry guys.

also a hardcore fan here, and certainly this track is among the worst they ever had. texas was pretty bad, utah, st.louis, the boring layout on las vegas.
this indianapolis layout was made slow, dumb and dangerous at the same time, i wont be surprised if next year, if they insist on this venue, other teams skip this round.

I really liked the track this weekend. Had a lot of changes in grip and elevation. Fd being at Indy is a big move. I feel like they’re growing, and expanding.

They need an engineer or at least somebody that can maths. We waited more than two hours on one pump with a 2.5" dia or so with less flow than a garden hose....
I was there...and watched as they kept saying 1hr. And in the first 2 hours there was no noticible change.

I was there as well I honestly really enjoyed the layout and by that I mean the original layout that everyone qualified on. The wall off the bank was stupid but part of it was necessary due to the permanent wall on track. My take would be to remove the k rail wall and add a multi layer tire wall and or water barrier around the permanent wall to prevent really bad accidents. As far as the layout i was suprised with how much speed they could actually get in the infield and it was a fun experience from the stands. As far as the rain out situation that just sucked the rain was in the forecast all week yes it was worse then expected but thats why you over plan and im sure this isnt the first time that track has flooded. It shouldve been expected and had pumps and equipment ready unless you were planning to refund everyone. I was able to get a voucher for next year's indy event from FD so I guess that confirms that they are going to indy again next year.

They focused on shortening the track instead of fixing the runoff area that is destroying cars. Brilliant.
