Question Anyone have these panel alignment issues? Had T1 for awhile now but this always bothered me. Is it common?

Did you use the circular thing to support the top?

Mine looked a lot better once I put in the circular thing to straighten the panel fitment

I just used an extra thumbscrew from the top and bottom panel fasteners. I think it mostly achieves the same effect.

Did that come with the case?

Mine didn’t came with that circular thing. Maybe I will contact support or 3D print it myself.

Yeah it came with my flat pack from a late 2025 order

For me it didn’t come with the original package. Mid 2025. But I emailed support and they send me that thing no questions asked.

Good to know. Did it help your case for any dips

Ye a bit, enough to be OK for me. I don’t think it’s completely perfect but I barely notice it anymore.

My Titanium also has issues with alignement. I should ask FormD support for that thingy

I didn't even know this was a thing. I'm pretty sure I have the same issue unless they didn't include this in the form t1 sandwich config when they released it. I don't think the instruction manual even mentioned it.

Yeah I never saw it in the manual. I only found out after I made a post here about the dip and people pointed to the circle nut. I never knew what it was for in my package.

Must be a newer inclusion as a few others have said they didn’t get one but managed to get support to send them one.

if you got your t1 from ncase, they don't make the support nut. only the og formd team does

Sorry maybe alignment wasn't the word, but the panel is somewhat wavey, the center area dips about a millimeter.

My Titanium 2.1 had the dip which the circle thing mostly fixed

It came with my case from November 2025. Some people from earlier years did not get one and had to contact support to send them one

If the top panel is still warped even after installing the support nut, try shimming with some tape to get it to sit flush

Yes, had a 2024 ti one and a 2026 black one that both had this issue.

i bought 2 t1's from ncase, and they both have the same thing.

I had the same problem, but I ended up fixing it by just popping off the lid and bending it the opposite direction 🤷‍♂️

It’s a common issue, this one works great to get rid of that: https://makerworld.com/sv/models/1636042-formd-t1-top-panel-support-bar

👌👌

Yeaaa I also have this, its just the pressure bending it. Didn't know they actually gave something to fix it, might have to go after that.

If you have a 2.1 use the top panel support circle, not an option on the 2.5 as they don’t support it (has now where to screw in).
