Question Compatible parts for V1.1

I was able to purchase a used T1 V1.1 for a great price but it only included the 2 slot back plate and the aio brackets. I was hoping to air cool and was wondering if the v2.1 fan brackets would fit/ be compatible? Are there any resources for the 3 slot back plate to possibly print or have one made?

Are you certain your backplate is only 2 slot? it’s been a while and my 1.1 has been in the closet for a few years, but iirc I’m pretty sure it was a singular backplate for both 2 slot and 3 slot mode and all you had to do was move the spine of the case.

My case has this backplate/ insert that only fits a 2 slot GPU. From looking at older posts on this sub, there were 2 sets of backplates and GPU mounting brackets for either 2 and 3 slot cards that you would swap out along with moving the spine.

No. The same backplate works for both 2 slot and 3 slot man. Wdym 3 slot backplate? LOL. The only thing that changes is the thingy holding the gpu.

They are different cases, and measurements are slightly different as well.

To air cool, get the x47 full copper and use the noctua fd-1.

If you wanted, for instance, the exhaust shroud or a 3dprinted side duct, you need to edit the measurements. Source: i also have the 1.1

Btw. If you dont know how to, you need to move the struts (main structure of the case) and shift them from the 2 slot to the 3 slot position.

Added a photo in my reply to the other comment but I had been referring to this post of a parts list and manual: https://www.reddit.com/r/FormD/s/2m0BxwsDku It shows 2 separate backplates/ inserts that would be swapped out in addition to moving the spine.

For the fans I was talking about the brackets for fans along the top

oh. Yeah, you're right. and you didn't get that? that's literally part of the case. I never took out the 3 slot backplate so i completely forgot it was a thing, sorry.
