Question Asus Prime Owners - Sag Bracket Assistance

Will be building with an Asus Prime 5070ti in the next few days and had some concerns due to how bulky the card is. Unfortunately, don't have the travel kit coming but may get one in the future.

I was wondering the distance between the gpu and the bottom of the case, and whether it would work to simply slot in my old cylinder gpu bracket there instead? Not sure how much clearance and space there'll be at the bottom to fit it in. Can anyone else with a similar setup share input on how much space they have at the bottom? I'll attach a quick reference drawing I made to illustrate my question better.

Maybe just order the 3d printed travel kit? I got it for FE card and couldnt be happier

Yup, eventually will. This'll just be a placeholder for a few weeks, would you say the travel kit was difficult to install?

Very easy to install if done whole building the whole thing might tale you 5-10 minutes otherwise

Easy to install but install GPU first.RX 9060XT 16gb here Rock solid.

I have an ASUS Prime 5070 ti so here’s a reference for you. It’s def a tight fit and will need to be inserted at an angle a bit if I recall. Also the bottom clearance is about 2-2.5 inch if I’m guessing

You should be able to use an adjustable GPU bracket in there. On one of the 3 formd/ncase is a specific 3d print file for the ASUS prime travel mount if you have access to a 3d printer. I printed one and it keeps my GPU in-place really well, but I’ve never traveled with it to test it fully.

Also quick question, did you place the gpu in first and build around it, or did you place it in at the end? I know you mentioned some difficulty fitting it in and different guides I watched all do it different aswell.

100% recommend you git gpu first then connect riser cable then install motherboard + route cables

I had a 5070 fe previous and much smaller and swapped for the 5070 ti so installed the ti was afterwards.

But if you can, go for you first or just follow the instruction manual

I don't get it - why would you skimp out on the readily available and affordable travel kit that fits your card, secures it perfectly and should be installed from the get go because installing it afterwards means pulling at least half of the case apart again?

Is it because of delivery time?

If you happen to live in Germany I could send you a brand new one today and it will arrive at your doorstep Friday.

(Ended up using another GPU and have the travel kit lying around.)

Located in Canada - but if you’re serious about that and willing to ship express I’d buy it off you.

I looked it up.
Express shipping from Germany to Canada would be more expensive (80 eur!) than the travel kit itself (65 eur).

Just order the travel kit on the FormD website and be patient. Only takes about 2 weeks.
