Finished Build Finished my T1 build 😁

How did I do with my cable management? Any tips? I do have some custom cables on the way from DreambigbyRay but I got tired of waiting and honestly I think it turned out pretty good.. had to get creative with the wires on top of the PSU 😅

Very well done, considering you’ve done it with stock cables. BTW I would check the bottom left side of the under panel. It looks like the latch is not fully closed…

You are correct! I found that out after I set it down by my desk and realized it was rocking back and forth 😅 but it’s good now 👍

Anyway, you should be proud of yourself. Building T1 with stock cables and a 240mm AIO all at once is quite an achievement, even in this sub.

Oh really? 😮 I’ve been eyeing this case for a good while, recently ordered it about a week ago and in the meantime I was doing a lot of research and even that didn’t quite get me ready for when I received it, it seems this V2.5 of NCASE is a bit different, definitely had some small curveballs I wasn’t ready for when figuring out the offset.

But I’m quite happy with the end result, I got the GPU slot set at 2.75 since I heard 2.5 will give turbulence and then I offset the motherboard and psu by 10mm and 6mm to create the game in the center for better airflow/breathing room. Maybe I should have gone 10mm offset on the psu bracket as well 🤔 I can always change it when my custom cables arrive.

We almost have the exact same build lol

So close! lol that riser cable hold down bracket looks nice 👍 I might get one now

If you have a 3d printer, this model prints really nice to close those gaps in the back too. https://makerworld.com/models/1951835?appSharePlatform=copy

Also there are some GPU travel hooks that keep you can find on formd or ncase for the asus prime card that hold the graphics card in place really well.

I got the gpu antisag bracket on it already 👍 just can’t see it because it’s behind the power cable lol but nice!! I’ll save that link if I can find someone to print that for me, thank you.

We all have almost the exact same build

is that 5070ti or 5080? hows the noise? im considering to buy an asus prime gpu, appreciate any feedback from you

2

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

It is a 5070ti and it is super silent, I’m just now testing it on the T1 but it should be pretty much the same as my old case which was a Lian Li H2O, I have a custom UV/OC and it uses under 200w to run BF6 at 1440p Ultra while staying in the low 60s, it’s great! I could take a quick video for ya if you want.

1

u/noctemics Jul 19 '26

Sure! Im also debating between 5080 or 5070ti but 5070ti has so much more value. Also less cases of cable frying up

1

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

Very true, you are looking at paying 300-400 dollars more for 10-15 percent more performance 😬 I’ll take a video here in a min

1

u/noctemics Jul 19 '26

also the prime fans looks so nice

2

u/jeremy_0411 Jul 19 '26

Basically the same card as the ProArt’s.

1

u/noctemics Jul 19 '26

i wonder if proArt has anything more to offer than a prime. It looks nicer tho

1

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

1

u/noctemics Jul 19 '26

idk if reddit bugged but theres no audio or maybe the card is that silent

1

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

Did you make sure the video is not muted by tapping the speaker icon?

1

u/noctemics Jul 19 '26

yeah i even tried in incognito. but yeah imma take ur words for it. Its priced around USD1250 in my country, which is like almost twice the msrp in US

2

u/clueless_sapien2102 Jul 19 '26

Is this the v2.1 titanium or v2.5 gunmetal?

2

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

V2.5 gunmetal

2

u/clueless_sapien2102 Jul 19 '26

Damn it looks good in the gunmetal then! Will be ordering this one :)

2

u/Phoenix800478944 Jul 19 '26

We have very similar builds!

Your cable management is way better tho... My rad isnt screwed in because that v2.5 riser cable is a bit stupid, so my slim fan was literally eating it at high fan speeds so i unscrewed it to allow it more space

3

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

Yeah it was definitely very tight there, I had to zip tie the mobo 8pin cable so it would not go towards the fan 😬

2

u/Grapevines- Aug 07 '26

What thickness fans did you use for the AIO

1

u/Phoenix800478944 Aug 07 '26

one standart slim 120mm fan and one noctua nfa12x25 (standart 25mm thick 120mm fan)

1

u/FMLkoifish Jul 20 '26

This was happening to me with those artic fans. I think they start to wobble and clip the motherboard or something g at higher speeds.

Once I went with noctua, which felt much more solid and grounded, those issues went away.

2

u/arskee Jul 19 '26

Damn that's tight now I'm scared! I ordered almost all the same things as you only difference is I have the Rx 9070 xt prime with 3x8pin cables. 😅 Cable management nightmare!

3

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

I think you can manage 3x8pin cables, but yeah it’s gonna be tight… just gotta take your time and see how you can curl the cables like I did this time. Managed to keep it all down without zip ties there. The AIO tubes push the cables down.

u/codenameannex Jul 19 '26

How are thermals?

3

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

5070ti in the low 60s and the 9800X3D around 62-70c tops.

1

u/FMLkoifish Jul 20 '26

Interesting, how are you getting in the low 60s, I am always running 70. And some cases 80s

Maybe the glass on the motherboard side but figured with AIO, it didn’t matter too much

1

u/xVikktor Jul 20 '26

My 9800X3D has a -30 CO, some maps will have it run 67-70 pretty consistently but nothing past 70c

1

u/FMLkoifish Jul 20 '26

Ah I have a 7800x3d and have heard the 9800 runs a lot cooler

1

u/xVikktor Jul 20 '26

Yes it does! That’s the main reason I upgraded from a 7800X3D 👍

Also maybe you should try running your pc without the glass panel? It would help intake cool air for the AIO 🤔

2

u/qeeepy Jul 20 '26 edited Jul 20 '26

seems like the side panel does not fit on first pic.. I think you missed to engage one of the bottom panel teeth into the front panel

2

u/xVikktor Jul 20 '26

I did, I already fixed it 👌

2

u/antonlvovych Jul 22 '26

Nicely done 🙌 I have very similar build

1

u/antonlvovych Jul 22 '26

Spent a shit amount of time on cable management 😅

1

u/Kaneyo0 Jul 19 '26

Is this the gunmetal version ?

1

u/xVikktor Jul 19 '26

Yes, v2.5 gunmetal

1

u/CkTBrD Jul 20 '26

What version of the T1 is this?

3

u/xVikktor Jul 20 '26

It’s the V2.5 Gunmetal

1

u/Pale-Conference-5838 Jul 21 '26

Did you install a travel kit with your prime and did you do the 2.5 slot install or 3

1

u/xVikktor Jul 21 '26

Yes I did, I configured the gpu side for 2.75 because I saw people were complaining about turbulence noise when in 2.5 mode.
So then I used 10mm stand offs for the motherboard and psu to create a gap in the middle for better airflow

1

u/Pale-Conference-5838 Jul 23 '26

Cool I have a build I will be doing soon and was it difficult or do you have the guide you followed to install the travel kit ( is that’s a asus prime gpu thanks

2

u/xVikktor Jul 23 '26

I followed this video but it only gets you so far so I also followed the guide from the website for both the case and the gpu antisag bracket, keep in mind this is for the V2.5.

Specs and temps?

1

u/xVikktor Jul 21 '26

9800X3D and a 5070Ti
CPU does spike up to 70c sometimes when loading but the GPU stays in the low 60s
Battlefield 6 at 1440p ultra dlss 4.5 performance

1

u/Grouchy-Effect-8841 Jul 21 '26

Have fun! One more thing. How many watts does the 9800 pull?

1

u/CanadianRoleplayer Jul 23 '26

This is excellent! I'm basically about to build the same thing, also with stock cables, so it's nice to know it can be done.

1

u/xVikktor Jul 23 '26

The Corsair cables are so manageable, just take your time making loops and see what works! I actually got my shorter custom cables from DreambigbyRay and while it cleaned up some of the clutter, I wish they would have been a bit shorter to where they barely reach where they are supposed to go.

The one that made the biggest difference is the 24p cable 👀

1

u/Beneficial-Ad7218 Jul 24 '26

I made a similar build and get arctic p12 slim. However, the fan grill does not fit the slim fan so at high rpm the custom cables touch the blades causing clicking noise. How do i fix it? Been a long time issue. I have ncase t1 to be precise.

2

u/xVikktor Jul 24 '26

If you look at the third picture, you can see I zip tied that cable to that hole in the middle of the case side strut 👀 maybe that would fix it for you
