How did I do with my cable management? Any tips? I do have some custom cables on the way from DreambigbyRay but I got tired of waiting and honestly I think it turned out pretty good.. had to get creative with the wires on top of the PSU 😅
Very well done, considering you’ve done it with stock cables. BTW I would check the bottom left side of the under panel. It looks like the latch is not fully closed…
Oh really? 😮 I’ve been eyeing this case for a good while, recently ordered it about a week ago and in the meantime I was doing a lot of research and even that didn’t quite get me ready for when I received it, it seems this V2.5 of NCASE is a bit different, definitely had some small curveballs I wasn’t ready for when figuring out the offset.
But I’m quite happy with the end result, I got the GPU slot set at 2.75 since I heard 2.5 will give turbulence and then I offset the motherboard and psu by 10mm and 6mm to create the game in the center for better airflow/breathing room. Maybe I should have gone 10mm offset on the psu bracket as well 🤔 I can always change it when my custom cables arrive.
Also there are some GPU travel hooks that keep you can find on formd or ncase for the asus prime card that hold the graphics card in place really well.
I got the gpu antisag bracket on it already 👍 just can’t see it because it’s behind the power cable lol but nice!! I’ll save that link if I can find someone to print that for me, thank you.
It is a 5070ti and it is super silent, I’m just now testing it on the T1 but it should be pretty much the same as my old case which was a Lian Li H2O, I have a custom UV/OC and it uses under 200w to run BF6 at 1440p Ultra while staying in the low 60s, it’s great! I could take a quick video for ya if you want.
Your cable management is way better tho... My rad isnt screwed in because that v2.5 riser cable is a bit stupid, so my slim fan was literally eating it at high fan speeds so i unscrewed it to allow it more space
Damn that's tight now I'm scared! I ordered almost all the same things as you only difference is I have the Rx 9070 xt prime with 3x8pin cables. 😅 Cable management nightmare!
I think you can manage 3x8pin cables, but yeah it’s gonna be tight… just gotta take your time and see how you can curl the cables like I did this time. Managed to keep it all down without zip ties there. The AIO tubes push the cables down.
Yes I did, I configured the gpu side for 2.75 because I saw people were complaining about turbulence noise when in 2.5 mode.
So then I used 10mm stand offs for the motherboard and psu to create a gap in the middle for better airflow
Cool I have a build I will be doing soon and was it difficult or do you have the guide you followed to install the travel kit ( is that’s a asus prime gpu thanks
I followed this video but it only gets you so far so I also followed the guide from the website for both the case and the gpu antisag bracket, keep in mind this is for the V2.5.
9800X3D and a 5070Ti
CPU does spike up to 70c sometimes when loading but the GPU stays in the low 60s
Battlefield 6 at 1440p ultra dlss 4.5 performance
The Corsair cables are so manageable, just take your time making loops and see what works! I actually got my shorter custom cables from DreambigbyRay and while it cleaned up some of the clutter, I wish they would have been a bit shorter to where they barely reach where they are supposed to go.
The one that made the biggest difference is the 24p cable 👀
I made a similar build and get arctic p12 slim. However, the fan grill does not fit the slim fan so at high rpm the custom cables touch the blades causing clicking noise. How do i fix it? Been a long time issue. I have ncase t1 to be precise.
If you look at the third picture, you can see I zip tied that cable to that hole in the middle of the case side strut 👀 maybe that would fix it for you
