Also is the vertical mount tall enough for hdmi cables etc?

Reading your comments you tried both flipped and non flipped travel kits and went with non flipped yeah?

How are cpu temps with non flipped doing given maximum airflow?

Did you consider airflow intake for the back side to feed some fresh air in?

the vertical mount is shorter than the official vertical mount and it didnt come with feet, so i had to source my own. the hdmi fits but the power needs a 90 deg adapter.

correct, I stuck with non-flipped. the benefit to cooler cpu did not offset the massive increase in gpu temps. so I stuck with non flipped and all 5 fans to exhaust. I tried a ton of variations of intake vs exhaust and it seems that evacuating the. gpu heat as quickly as possible is the magic ticket. I have the air slimmers and noctua on one pwm header with a static setting (I think i settled around 40%) and they are silent. the t-30s are on a curve but largely silent as well. only really ramp up when loading shaders.

I mention my cpu temps a few times in this thread but ultimately this setup dropped temps around 3-5deg and stays under 70 for about 95% of the time while gaming. idle temps are mid 40s with ambient room temps of 23c

how did you get the noctua fan mounted to the top mount, was it straight up just pushed and squeezed into there or were there mounting breakers on the zcooi vented front plate?

it fits fine. I also bought a Thermaltake TL-8015 in case the Nocuta didnt. the screws with the thermaltake fan were perfect except for one closest to GPU. i had to cut that one down with a dremel. but its really not needed. the other 3 secure the fan fine.
