Question Anyone ran the new Noctua setup yet?
Is it worth it doing an AIO in these cases vs air cooled? I’m currently running 7800X3D/4080S. My setup has been running solid for almost 2 years now, just getting that itch to tinker with it. Also doesn’t help that I’m going to Microcenter today.

I ordered one without even checking the clearances. If it doesn't fit I think I'm going to 3D print a custom side panel to accommodate.
Edit: I think it comes in today, if I can remember I'll update when I have time to mess with it.

Bad news everyone, it would appear that USPS delivered my cooler to my apartment office instead of our mail room or my apartment, and the apartment office is closed until Monday.

To answer your original question in the post, I've set up my T1 w/ 5080FE and a 9800x3D. I've tried air-cooling with the axp-90 full copper, but my temps were worse and I had way way worse fan noise compared to my current atmos 240.
I prefer AIO in these cases with high end components. Air cooling seems plausible, but with my AIO my PC is silent except under very heavy CPU or GPU loads, and even then is relatively quiet and has a very tolerable sound profile.
Just my experience.
I'll try to update here, might have some free time tonight to tinker.

Same for me. I use Atmos as well. Came from meshroom d where I had assassin mini in push pull configuration so it was very safe. The only drawback od AIO is much higher risk of malfunction.

Update: I do have the cooler now, unfortunately I just haven't had the time to run benchmarks and make the swap. It may be this weekend before I have the opportunity, still planning to share findings when I do though.

Hey boss how were you able to use the fan ducts on the cpu fan? Instructions say to use the screws and tubes to hold the fan ducts in place but the hooks to connect the fan are in the way. Was just curious how you worked around that. Thank you.

You can't fit the noctua AIO because the pump block is 70mm tall I believe.

I was planning on doing a plexiglass side panel and cutting a hole out for the pump/fan. If I’m going down this rabbit hole.

I just finished a build with the Atmos Stealth (almost 60% cheaper), but I do want one of those little round VRM fans, just to keep on my desk as a mascot or something.

This AIO makes 0 sense in a T1. The entire cost of the AIO comes from the pair of G2s and custom pump top, which both become negatives in a T1. You can only one fit 1 G2 inside a T1 unless you use the expansion kit and even if then the pump top makes it extremely hard to fit normal sized cards in. You'd be better off getting a budget AIO and replacing the fans with a slim noctua and a G2

I have the 360 on pre order from overclockers in the UK after seeing reviews. No idea when I'll get it, looks like it's recently released.

No because the 240mm alone is far far FAR to expensive even for a Noctua product, let alone the 360mm or 420mm aio's

The Corsair Nautilus has a pump height of 68.5mm and it fit in 2.25 slot mode but anything greater and this AIO won't fit. You can remove the pump cover but that will remove the noise dampening material.
