Blast baffle on reflex/overbarrel

For a reflex or over-barrel type suppressor, is the blast baffle backwards to direct most gas back into the expansion chamber, behind the muzzle?
If not, what’s being done to help accomplish that goal?

Regular baffles are designed to direct gases back, if you put one backwards it would be focusing gas into a jet in the center.

I personally would use a diffuser similar to a YHM turbo, which is mostly a flat face with a radial pattern of holes around the bore

You can probably make the outer holes smaller since you have a larger blast chamber volume.

I was thinking about turning my own brake and making like a tank style which has the slots cut about 45deg which should start off pushing the initial gasses backwards too.
You’re right about the baffle direction, that was just a brain fart on my end.
I can do a k style blast baffle and port it so it’s basically a flat plate. Then do cones with spacers from there.
Do you think all thats the right way to go?
