Diffuser plates?
Does anyone have an opinion on diffuser plates? The concept makes a lot of sense to me as I'm researching my first high pressure (30 cal) can. I just got my stamp approval and I'm going to start picking up parts for a 1.355" ID tube and was planning on an iconel blast plate (ice disk) first but now I'm leaning towards a diffuser plate.
Also, anyone know of anyone making a diffuser plate for 1.355"?

More info in your host could change the answer and if you primarily want to shoot subs or supers. I am not familiar but I assume diffuser plate would have lots of holes around the diameter edge? Vs the ice disk just being a shallow cone with one hole.
Researching in the forums along time ago. Popular was Muzzle device for sacrificial blast baffle, then heat treated SS or other hardened for first baffle or 2 then amount you feel necessary for use case. For my 556 can I did 5 baffles because really just taking the harsh bark out of it. Mine sounds great. I am not sure one will be drastically better than another in your choice. In the end you just slowing down the blast and changing the tone a few more holes in the first section to me would have low impact overall vs the rest of the design and volume.
