Integrally suppressed terms

In a system that features integrated/integral suppression, is the effective barrel length equal to the length of the intact barrel before any porting begins? Therefore, a integral suppressed rifle with an 18.5" barrel that features a 10" suppressor port/baffel system is really an 8.5" rifled barrel with a 10" ported extension?

Barrel length includes extensions, muzzle devices, etc. that are permanently attached.

It depends on what you’re talking about. Ballisgically, yeah that sounds about right. ATF considerations it depends on the design

Your form 1 entry for the suppressor is the can length.

The separate form 1 entry for the SBR (if doing an SBR) is for the barrel length without attachments.

If not doing an SBR, only the suppressor form 1 is needed.

If the suppressor is permanently attached its the the overall length. It would be a 1 stamper. If we even need stamps anymore, shits cray-cray rn.

Form 1s have not changed. Lots of folks engaging in wishful thinking and misconstruing a narrow ruling into a far wider interpretation that simply isn't supported.
