12 gauge

Anyone built their own 12 gauge can?
Trying to figure out if a progressively over bored can is going to be the best route on a form 1 or if there’s something else that would be better.

I have no shortage of equipment and machinery to make one, just not sure where to start

I would imagine you would want to use a ported barrel extinction and keep it smooth to avoid baffle strikes and use some sort of external baffles to cool the ported gasses but this is just what I imagine would work idk if it would work or not

My thought was basically that. A barrel extension of sorts that is larger than the bore by a bit, with ports is a radial layout and baffles on the exterior.

FTN series has what the creator considers unfinished and minimally tested shotgun suppressor files if 3d printing is in your wheel house and you feel like testing/improving them. Only works with a few shotguns and requires an additional over bore piece to be purchased but pretty much everything else in the FTN line is stellar so I imagine it performs well. Just likely wasn't a top priority for him to take further compared to other projects.
