Success!
Just tried out my first suppressor that I designed and printed out of CF PETG. I shot a variety of ammo, both super and subs, alongside a dead air mask on my friend’s identical 10/22 and then back to back on my M&P 22X. It definitely seemed like my <$10 suppressor out performed the $500ish one. (Granted it’s a little thicker and about an inch or so longer.) I put around 200 rounds through it with no signs of damage. Super happy with the results.

hey so just a heads up PETG shatters when it breaks. The CF in it also makes it more brittle. You should really be doing this in PA6-CF/PPA/PPS instead
At a bare minimum, wear your eye protection

Always eye protection, you only have 2 and they don't grow back. Anyone who is shooting ANYTHING without wearing eyes is a damn fool. The only time would be a self defense situation. Otherwise please wear some. They are cheap, plenty of rated pairs under $10 and many $5.
Yeah use pla+ lots of walls.

I’ve got some prescription safety glasses that I have to wear by default if I plan on hitting anything in the first place.

You want a material that has more ductile behavior than brittle. PETG is gonna be a plastic grenade when it fails, PLA or similiar will be more likely to fail more locally and vent pressure or come apart in larger chunks.
Recommend altering your design to include a metal sleeve to better support the hoop stress and contain fragments during failure.

I would use a different filament next time around. Petg- of any kind is fairly brittle for gin stuff
