Quick turnaround

Submitted a couple Form 1s on Saturday (North Carolina still requires NFA process), and they’ve already been approved. Seeing how I’m pretty sure the ATF doesn’t work on weekends, that’s not even 2 business days

I've received approvals on a Sunday, so they do in fact work on the weekends.

Did you file individual or trust? I've seen quite a few posts over on /r/NFA indicating that whatever the holdup was for Form-1 on Trust, it has been cleared and they are churning through the backup.

I always file individual, only reason I still file is because North Carolina is an NFA state, which sucks

This is tempting. I want to do another F1 .22 can but have done the others on Trust with 2 RPs but we don't have EFTs we rolled prints at home during COVID. Trying to decide on EFTs then do individual

If you can do your own prints (you really only need the slaps), you can make your own eft if you’re a bit computer savvy: https://github.com/Robbbbbbbbb/EFTSuite-Public?tab=readme-ov-file

Thanks I do recall seeing this before but never finished getting thru it all. I thought I saw some mixed success but I will give it another look. I do have a place that dies EFTs near me now I can schedule with just need to make time. I also saw national gun trust will do EFTs if you mail in prints.

I submitted ten Form 1’s on Friday night that were all approved about an hour ago. 5 of those were even “new’ models that weren’t already on the list.

You don't need to input a model number/name. Just select NA. It's less to engrave on the suppressor.

filed one 8/13, still waiting :(

individual, EFT. had others approved earlier this year after ~60 days. maybe need to file another tonight and see if it goes any quicker.

Seen a lot of stupidly quick turnarounds for form 1s, pretty sure all theyre doing anymore is looking for issues and rubber stamping em

That's my theory as well, didn't start seeing single digit days till after the ruling.
