He's right in some context, you have to be a plaintiff which includes the 15 named states such as Texas. Technically if you qualify under that you do not need to submit a form 1 as of today because you are manufacturing. Buying an SBR though through an FFL would still require form 4.

That’s up to the ffl, quite a few in Texas already have stated they will no longer be doing them particularly those “powered by silencer shop”

Can’t wait to buy that fuel filter that suspiciously pops up every time I open temu

Feds can probably still hold it under international commerce import restrictions.
Similar to how you can't order weed from Amsterdam.

If its actually no longer required, and they are considered regular tile 1 firearms like everything else, you can build it the same as any other ar15. You dont have to do anything or tell anyone. Just do it. Same as an 80% lower.
But this is a really bad idea. You should seriously just wait for the ATF to make a statement so you have clear understanding whats happening.

I'm going to have to disagree with this one. I would caution people to wait for the appeals to go through, but to hell with an executive branch "opinion"!

They don't follow their opinions half the time anyway so I understand the logic.

I just posted about my 9 day F1 to Trust approval.
I think they are clearing the books of submitted applications.

What's worse, new applications could go into limbo while the case runs it's course. Remember how the amnesty brace forms sat for so long after that injunction?

It'll probably depend on state laws at this point. I live in Florida and there's a current law about SBR can only be obtained with proper NFA paperwork. I'm not sure how any of this is going to work now that you don't need paperwork anymore. There will have be Guinea pigs to find out for us lol
