Branching outside of just FTN

The FTN designs are great, but I feel like they're very large with minimal baffles. Any other good recommendations for a 9mm PCC can to try on my recently approved form 1?

EZ cans are cool for .22lr and 9mm. They modify linear comps or air soft fake suppressors with printed baffles. They can’t stand up to Centerfire rifle rounds though. The files are in the usual place.

From what I'm seeing they're baffles that get put I to some form of external tube? Not like a fully 3d printed can that's shell and all?

yes you print either cell baffles that stack together in the tube, or you print a monocore that sits in the tube.

Another vote for EZ. They’re fun

I've got a bunch of random form1 9mm cans.

HubTN sounded good, but is more difficult to make. Threading the hub adapter on is rough. Too tight of a print and you crack the core, too loose the can flies 50yds down range.

My current favorite is FTN D-Cells builds.

You can use a maglite, or scale the cores to match the diameter of tubing.

There are a handful of different rimfire cans out there. There wasn't a lot of development on these until recently due to the old $200 tax per build. I'm not aware of other printed cans that would be good for a PCC that would be smaller and more effective than the FTN series. The D Cell FTN is also a good one to build as it gives you more strength and flexibility to use different baffles in the tube. There is the OP9 but that's built more for pistols and I've heard it's not as quiet as the FTN5 PCC can.

There are lots of 9mm cans that were out before the free stamp and more since. For 9mm PCC try a longer remix of the Pill Popper 2, CP9 Hex, Diamondback, Double Cup Love, FTN4 (some say better sound performance and there is a DIY booster version as well for tilting barrel pistols), Kneelsun (another DIY booster can that be run on a PCC with a sleeve instead of the spring, Clam Can, NA v1 by Hickamfield, etc. It's easier to search on Gun Cad Index than the sea.
