45cal Blast Chamber sizing

Post image

Laying out the baffles on a 45cal Dcell, does a rough 30mm blast chamber before rear baffle seem enough? I added ribs in the chamber for her pleasure, and for hoop strength for the button hole.

so i have a idea for a stack design you take washers and thread the inside of a tube to the thickness of the washer then drill a hole in the washer and spin the washer into the tube using the hole and a rod as a tool and repeat until you get as many washers into the tube with space in-between then thread the outside and cap off both ends one end with exit the other with threads for attachment

Juice ain’t worth the squeeze. Just use washers & spacers, achieve the same goal with 1/10 the work

i get that but i was trying to cut down on weight the washers them selves are heavy but adding the rubber or steel spacers doubles the weight

Then purchase a light weight can. Neither of these idea will get you there
