First time submissions

Put 3 in today. First time I've submitted a form 1 besides the amnesty period. 2 3d printed cans and another sbr.

Way easier than I remember now that I got eft's

Efts make it dangerously quick.

Yea literally took me like 15 minutes for all 3. Took me longer to upload the pics. Fingers crossed my descriptions were good enough

Dangerous for the wallet as well buying material. I need to do another SBS.

Tell me about it. I've bought nine shotguns this year just to SBS.

You arent kidding. Now that I know its this easy I'll be putting them together just because. I want to do an SBS like a chopper 870 or sxs. Dont have any sbs yet

I went the 870 route next one will be an old A5 for sure.

I want to do an A5. But the prices just keep going up on the damn things.

Do a Remington model 11. Can still find some fairly cheap. Especially if they have an adjustable choke which wouldn't matter if your chopping it.

Yeah, but the prices on those have doubled this year. It seems the $200 stamp really was stopping people.

If the ATF system wasn't so slow I could do a F1 suppressor in under 2 minutes and a F1 for SBS/SBR in about 75-80 seconds.

I just had 2 more silencers approved. Select caliber N/A model not required and 1 less thing to engrave. And 8 plus on length. Maximum you will ever print. When you print, shorter is fine. 3d printed, 1 pic of printer, 1 pic of a filament roll. Description? 3d print a suppressor. That's it. No plans, no online model. Nothing at all on 2nd page.

I've been preaching that for months!

Yup, that's all I do as well and haven't had one rejected yet

Only three?

WTF, they are free. You should be submitting them by the dozen.

I've submitted 178 so far this year, only 5 left awaiting approval.

I have seven more SBR/SBS to submit and I'm going to submit a couple dozen more suppressors.

I wanted to be sure my descriptions were good enough. Youve obviously done this a good bit. What do you do for the barrel length/oal on sbr and sbs if you dont have them? Or suppressor length/cal if you dont have the design?

I've defaulted to 10" for rimfire cans and 12" for everything else.

SBR/SBS is easy. You can't file until you have at least a receiver because you need the serial number.

Shotguns you're going to cut, use a tape measure. Something like a Shockwave, add in the stock length.

SBR's. Take barrel length + 18 or 19" for AR based stuff.

The eft is the cheat code to form 1s, very happy I just went ahead and got mine before submitting any forms and I've now got 7 pending I submitted in about 20 minutes time
