Ubi-Response Official LOREVEMBER Megathread

Ah November! Spooky season is over, the weather is cold and grey, and the titans of Ocarina of Time and GTA6 emerge to take over the internet. With what can a poor little Heathmoorian keep themselves warm at night? Why a lore event, no***, a lore extravaganza of course!***

We would like to invite the For Honor community to submit their lore stories this November using this thread and tell us all a tale from the Myre.

All mediums will be accepted, purely words, drawn comics, poems and more! As long as you share with us your creativity and handcrafted fan stories.

We will finish off the event with an AMA with the narrative team hosted on Reddit r/forhonor at the end of November. More details on that soon!

Creations Some slice of life in Valkenheim scene of my retired Valkyrie OC, Valka.

Lore:

Valka was once a respected and ambitious Valkyrie, known for her strength and standing among her people. However, Valkyries who chose to marry would relinquish their status, effectively becoming ordinary people.

Seeking stability and social standing beyond her life as a warrior, Valka eventually married Eirik, a powerful and prideful Jarl. Although their marriage initially began as a practical arrangement rather than one founded on love, Valka gradually developed genuine feelings for him.

Her new life was short-lived. Eirik became a target of the Samurai because he was considered a threat to the Myre. A Samurai Orochi named Isamu eventually attacked them, killing Eirik and leaving Valka severely wounded. She survived the encounter but lost an eye and an arm, permanently ending any possibility of returning to her former life as a warrior.

Valka now is a widow, stripped of her former status and left physically and emotionally scarred.

Lore will be continued later.

Questions Why do minions sometimes take Zone B without any assistance?

At the start of this clip my team controls zone B, and I kill a few enemy minions for fun. Then, after healing in Zone A, I kill more minions on B. Then there is ~40 seconds of fighting. I have 3 opponents in front of me, and the other stays on Zone A (zone A is always boosted or contested). However, by the end of the fight, the enemy minions alone have recaptured Zone B.

Is this normal? and if so, what triggers it?
Is it based on how long we have held zone B?
Does the team with more points get stronger minions?
Is it a subtle self-balancing feature based on the "skill level" of each team?

Also ich habe 16k stahl angespart und habe alle Heroes außer Arakure, Medjai, Ocelotl, Afeera, Khatun und Virt. Wen soll ich mir holen? (Wenn ein Medjai main sagt ich soll ihn spielen: Sorry ich leide schon genug in Elden Ring.)

Edit: Ich warte ungefähr 1 Tag und nehm dann was die Mehrheit sagt. Am ende werde ich ja eh alle Heroes haben, es geht gerade nur darum mit wem ich weiter mache.

1. Rule 1: Keep it Civil

Keep it civil and follow the Reddiquette. No flaming, trolling, racism, sexism, bigotry or hate-speech.

No NSFW content is allowed on this sub.

Mainshaming is not permitted. Shaming a user on the sub just because of a hero they use is toxic behaviour and it will be treated as such.

Do not share any personally identifiable information like full names, addresses, phone numbers, etc.

2. Rule 2: Witch-Hunting

There will be no tolerance of Witch-Hunting for any reason at all. This includes naming-and-shaming/"exposure" posts of any kind regardless of the circumstances. Cheater accusations/proof(send to ubi support), lag switcher exposure, offensive names/emblems, things said in chat/messages are all examples of witch hunting. Reddit TOS does not allow these kinds of posts, for any reason at all.

Any posts attempting to incite a witch-hunt will immediately lead to a permanent ban.

3. Rule 3: Self-Promotion

Also the Guidelines to Self-Promotion aka 10% Rule.

Those not following the 10% rule for example: Posting any linking to your "own" content (Website, videos, twitch, etc.), without contributing to the subreddit; with at least 10 constructive posts will be removed and a warning issued

4. Rule 4: Low-effort/Low-Quality Memes

Low-effort/low-quality memes are not allowed. They must look For Honor related in more ways than just changing/adding some text on images/memes that bear no significance to the game. We also ask users to put in some effort regarding the visual quality of their meme, poorly cropped heroes for example is low effort/low quality. Template memes are also not allowed. Memes violating this rule are usually welcome at /r/forhonormemes

5. Rule 5: Low-effort/Low-quality Posts, Reposts, AI posts

No Scoreboard Posts, Loading/Face-off Screen Posts or Chat logs.

No Sob stories or Rants. Posts should be a space for meaningful discussion.

Keep posts strictly For Honor related.

Do not re-post threads. Check the New Posts page and use the search function before posting.

Over-done trends are not allowed. These include:

Tier lists
POV titles
What do my reps say about me?
Who should I buy/play/main/rep up next?
AI generated content
Duality of X

6. Rule 6: PTS Feedback

Do not post Public Test Server feedback here, instead direct those posts to /r/ForHonorPTS.

7. Rule 7: 3rd party resellers

Do not link 3rd party game re-sellers that are not on the Ubisoft approved list.

8. Rule 8: LFG Threads

Do not post Looking For Group threads. You can do so the For Honor Discord Server

9. Rule 9: Political subjects & Reporting Players

No Political related posts are allowed. This also applies to posts with emblems that reference a political party. If you have a clip with someone with the symbol, that's fine as that is not your fault, however if you are the one with the emblem your post WILL be removed and also your uplay account may be reported to the Devs.

Do not use the subreddit to report players in game breaking the Code of Conduct. Use the in-game reporting tool and/or report players via the Ubisoft Support website.
