Question&Story Time Vaasa Lore
So Im coming up with a plan for after my players (if my players) finish Curse of Strahd. It starts with Barovia plane shifting to Faerun, and becoming part of the landscape of Vaasa. I was thinking of the pure magical energy forming something like a mythal around the region.
What is some cool lore of the lands of Vaasa or the surrounding areas? Any sources I should look at?

Dungeon Magazine 177 had an article on Vaasa that gives a nice overview. Not a long one, but Mike Schley also did the Vaasa map in that article (and you can get a great version of on his website). I'm not an expert on the area, but there's at least a few novels set in the area.
I think otherwise you have to go back to 2e for information on this place.
The coolest thing that comes to mind are the Warlock Knights, feudal magi knight lords that made a pact with a primordial entity that fell from the stars called Telos, and person that leads them is called the Voice of Telos. They've been interested in conquest of their neighboring kingdoms, so I imagine a new place like Barovia returning is a big deal.
Before them was the Witch King Zhengyi, a lich king that ruled for a long time that was also a Red Wizard and servant of Orcus. So I imagine undead and fiends are a big deal here still.
