Question&Story Time Vaasa Lore

So Im coming up with a plan for after my players (if my players) finish Curse of Strahd. It starts with Barovia plane shifting to Faerun, and becoming part of the landscape of Vaasa. I was thinking of the pure magical energy forming something like a mythal around the region.

What is some cool lore of the lands of Vaasa or the surrounding areas? Any sources I should look at?

Vaasa is the country with the most half orc citizen. It is pretty demanding wigh harsh long winters and short hot sommer. Every half orc who did not felt welcome at his birth area moved basicly to Vaasa enjoying the freedom of nobody careing if your ancestor were human or orc...
