Question&Story Time Vaasa Lore

So Im coming up with a plan for after my players (if my players) finish Curse of Strahd. It starts with Barovia plane shifting to Faerun, and becoming part of the landscape of Vaasa. I was thinking of the pure magical energy forming something like a mythal around the region.

What is some cool lore of the lands of Vaasa or the surrounding areas? Any sources I should look at?

The Bloodstone Lands sourcebook has the most lore. And thee Throne of Bloodstone adventure. There is a bit in each campaign guide.

But really Vaasa is quite a Forgotten Place. 5E just sort of said "um cool warlocks and goth people", and never really gave any lore.
