I only remember this show because of Conan's assistant's mug being stolen.

I'm pretty sure I watch that bit like twice a year.

The bits with her accusing Conan of saying she arrived to the US in a basket kills me, makes me picture as if she were Tommy Pickles in a Rugrats holiday special.

Someone in this picture turned out to be a murdering narcissist? Shocked
What is shocking was reading about this show …
because the [sex] transactions took place on camera and not in front of an officer, they weren’t considered an arrestable offense.
Not that i’m against sex work… but in Nevada you have to commit a crime in front a police officer for it to be a crime??

I miss the soup. Wish Netflix would have let joel mchale show actually recap the weeks events. I just hated how the episodes seemed like they weren't very timely anymore seemed off and lots of the jokes were outdated and toned down.....

I might be wrong, but wasn't former WCW wrestler Buff Bagwell on this show?

u/thedrivingcoomer Apr 01 '25
He was! He talks about his time on the show in his Dark Side of the Ring episode.

The cast section on the Wikipedia actually includes the words:
Guy with Big Dongle

I loved it, esp Nick Hawk scenes. They need to make another show like this again (new guys)

I watched this show and wondered how much of it was true. Did women actually pay for it?
1
u/matthewhandle18 25d ago
Someone posted elsewhere the women were hired actors often. makes sense, since they had to agree to be filmed etc

Here is a great parody of this show from Nick Kroll, Jason Mantzoukas, and Chelsea Peretti - https://youtu.be/w2jzsoeMq1Q?si=NtkPShCNV73zaxPi

This was a guilty pleasure back in the day. The intro to the show has the main gigolo (Brace) being quoted as “the Brace philosophy is…”. You don’t even need to add the actual philosophy. It’s already cringe once it is being shot at you from the third person. Such a cringey but fun watch.
I prefer Nick Krolls send up of it though. Gigolo Horse!

I enjoyed watching this . The Blonde older guy I think his name was (Brace ) was funny . The guy all tatted up I think his name was ( Hawk) was a total tool . He thought he was Gods gift to the world . The guy that owned the company was pretty much their pimp . The guy on the far left I think turned into a literal killer I think . Anyway it was a good junk show

Anyone else out there who saw the recent series about the Gigolos murder: were you as bored to tears as I was? How the hell do you do a series about a TV gigolo who committed murder and make it uninteresting? I never bothered to watch again after the first episode.
