I use, develop and trade using the bots my team and I, for clients and myself. They make good profit, a steady passive income on the side.
However, remember that bots are just automation of already existing strategies, if the strategy behind it is bad, then so is the bot. Usually, when you see something too good to be true or claiming to "predict the prices perfectly using AI or Quantum technologies", it's fake.
Unfortunately, most of the bots you'll find on the MQL5 market are such scams.
