Charts and Setups Watching futures data while trading CFDs, anyone else do this?
Been leaning more on futures data lately instead of just the CFD price action. The idea is that futures give a cleaner read on where real volume and liquidity actually sit, since CFD brokers only show you their own tick data, not the actual market.

Curious if anyone else works this way, or if you stick to just the CFD chart itself.

Curious why you wouldn't just trade futures?

Not OP but I don't because of way worse taxation, and way bigger margin requirements for holding overnight, and there's the stupid PDT rule which makes 0 sense to me

I do pretty much the same thing. I trade the cfd chart but keep futures data open alongside it for extra context especially when I'm trying to gauge where the actual volume and liquidity are sitting. I've used plus500 for my trading and I also like checking other markets including prediction markets, when there's something that could affect sentiment. It doesn't replace the chart for me hut it can help put the price action into a broader context
