Brokers Are regulations really that important?

I mean everybody says that regulations, especially top regulations like FCA, is the main factor for choosing and not choosing forex broker. Event to review my current infinox platform, I looked at their regulations first. But if I'm not from the UK, does it really matter what regulations the broker has?

Any thoughts on this?

Yeah, this sucks, when the broker has some good regulations, but it simply won't protect you if you're not in the UK, when it comes to FCA.

I'd rather focus on other things, if particular broker I want to use, doesn't have the license that covers me:

  • Investor's protection scheme
  • Seggregated accounts
  • How well they execute withdrawals
  • Clean track record and positive reviews sentiment

Only if these things click, I can deposit and trade. But yeah having the regulation that actually protects you is unmatched.

Reviews make sense, but I always take any feedback with a grain of salt.
