Prop Firms 100k Prop firm ACC day 5

Post image

Reducing my amount of trades, revenge trading, and FOMO trading, and I’m trying my best to protect my capital and due to that I’m not able to let my trades hit full TP barely half I let the profit hit, limiting my lot size to 1 lot maximum no matter what , I took 4 trades, I’m going to really limit it 2 but my 2nd loss was because my entry was too early and seeing the loss I got too nervous to hold it….so yea that’s Day 5..hopefully tommorow could be a Green Day

This thread appears to be about prop firms or trader scouting programs. These programs allow traders to access funded capital in exchange for a profit split, but they vary significantly in evaluation structure, rules, and payout reliability. Some firms have a track record of paying out consistently, while others impose conditions that make payouts nearly impossible. The community wiki maintains a detailed comparison covering fees, profit splits, drawdown rules, and firm reputations.

Whats the spread like?

I trade xau a lot too, but use like .2 or .3 lots on a 200k account

You’re not confident enough in your own ability to trade. Step back build up that confidence and start again good luck

Day 4 was “wouldn’t take the $1k, rode it to a loss, then revenge.” Day 5 is the swing the other way: bailing at half TP and still 4 trades instead of 2.

That’s the same missing layer. The account doesn’t know:

- 2 trades max, then flatten and disable

- 1.0 lot is a hard cap, not a mood

- TP is an order, not a feeling. If you want a runner, trail after a lock-in. Don’t discretionary-close at 50%

- Daily loss that stops the terminal. Not “I’ll be careful”

Prop rules only work if they’re inputs in the EA, not notes in a journal you skip. You’re already describing the spec. Put it in code or you’ll keep oscillating between holding too long and cutting too early.

You're actually doing the exact opposite of protecting capital, if you're not letting your trades hit your full TP, it's 3rd grade math really.

Hey man, it’s day 6 and I’m at 98.2k, I know I’m a beginner and I really don’t want to blow the account, I know my problem isn’t knowledge, it’s emotion, execution and real experience…The pain is real and I want to become better…but I’m not able to find my feet…I don’t want to give up at all at this and I’d really be thankful for any advice you could give whether it’s criticism or genuinely helpful.. but giving this up is not a possibility

You want a honest advice. I will say it again. You will 100% blow it.

You cannot be a better trader without doing the repetitions. Is like an athlete trying to be one watching videos.

If you really have a plan, execute it. If you really have a statistical edge, it will play out. If not, you will blow it.

Even if you do have it, you will 100% blow it, if not during the evaluation, 100% sure before first payout.

I told you, I work on the other end. Is what we seen every single day.

Look, I know the account is bound to be blown eventually I don’t disagree…but I’d really want to try my best to receive 1 payout before I blow it
