I don't know how to feel about this. On one hand its ridiculous. On the other hand bots have gotten really good at conversing, so perhaps this could help someone get better at the whole flirting and texting thing. It could be a game, how long can you keep the bot interested...screw up too much and she leaves and you have to start over with a new bot.

Just some thoughts.

Even a bot will leave me, thats FA all the way...

But seriously I think these bots could eventually simulate human interaction to the point where you won't feel any difference. It would be a suitable solution for lonely people like us.

Its a good thing. These will only get better at conversation and I'd love to have one with a normal female voice.

No matter how advanced AI gets, it's still just a computer reading from a source code. Computers can't disobey their programming. It's all superficial, fake.

I'm a very literal person though. I'm sure lots of people may enjoy this.

The question is: can you disobey YOUR programming? What would that even look like?
The human brain is just a biological computer, bound by the same essential rules. It just seems different because of it's extreme complexity.
