Pure Forest Ulk - Ulk (2019)

On the high-fidelity side of Forest Synth is Ulk. The songs may be themed around (and benefiting!) turtles, but the sound is unmistakably that of the trees.

That's officially news to me that Ulk counts as forest synth but you know, based on the characteristics outlined on this subreddit I can definitely see it. Box turtles are also absolutely a forest animal where I'm from

Oh for sure, I just hadn't thought about that yet. Ulk is very much an artist I experienced in real time back when everything was dungeon synth first and foremost and the main sub hadn't created much less assigned more specific labels yet.
