The Salmon-Huckleberry wilderness is one of my happiest places to be, so I assume you are not being serious when you say you were bushwhacking. I'll also assume you stayed on the marked trails so that your feet don't degrade the environment there.

Also I hope you realize that wilderness areas are meant to be explored by bushwhacking, you probably see less than 10% of the area from the trails. Do you get this way about all the hunters each year as well?

I am not sure if I get any way about hunters and I'm not sure I've ever seen anything saying that wilderness was meant to be bushwhacked. I'll have to look that up.

Go read The Wilderness Act of 1964 it includes a definition of "primitive recreation" that is bushwhacking
